Guest was Goldie Hawn and the subject was how to be happy. Research shows that more money doesn&amp;#8217;t make you happier, after you make 75,000 a year for a family of four. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;About 33% of the US population lived by the poverty line in 2009. I guess they are too happy. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So how come President Obama&amp;#8217;s State of the Union speech, was the first of a democratic president, since Harry Truman&amp;#8217;s State of the Union speech since 1948, that doesn&amp;#8217;t mention poverty or the plight of the poor.
